The characters were fantastic and the story was interesting and full of suspense. I loved the romance and the happy ending.

Great read!

This book in the series was really on fire. The characters in all of these books have depth to them and their feelings are usually hidden until the last minute. Mr DuPree was a handful, himself and the take down was worth the wait. I would recommend this to one and all.

Great story line. Would’ve given it more stars, but the sex scenes were a little too much for me.

These two were fun to get to know. They went from casual acquaintance with major irritation and frustration between them but a very sizzling attraction to quite embedded in each other’s lives for one reason after another. The story focuses on their getting together and the build of their relationship with the reality of their jobs going on around them and through them. I really enjoyed this story and will be reading the rest!

The first in a series that will be a must read for me. We were first introduced to the Walker family in Deep Trouble, a novella written about Kylie Walker and her harrowing escape from a killer. Kellan is her older brother, a former Army sniper, now firefighter. Kellan knew after returning from two tours in Afghanistan that a nine to five desk job just wasn't going to work. He found being a firefighter the most worthwhile and satisfying job an adrenaline junkie could have. On a routine abandoned house fire a few things were very unusual. The doors had locks similar to Fort Knox. It had a few pieces of sparse furniture, and a box of pictures that survived the fire. Kellan knew as soon as he looked at them they needed the police. Detective Isabella Moreno is a tough cop, known to go alone into places she shouldn't. Her department is called to investigate the pictures Kellan found, and he is not happy to see her. He felt she was at fault for Kylie nearly being killed. The pictures were of five woman, either being raped or forced into prostitution with abuse. Isabella has a secret very few people know, but those pictures set her off. She wants an investigation and to find these women immediately. Her superiors don't see it because their is no evidence. She and Kellan find themselves agreeing to do some investigating on their own. Kylie has a hand in convincing Kellan that Isabella had gone above and beyond to protect Kylie, and his anger slowly dies. But there's a lot more than investigating going on. Their attraction flames in a fire Kellan doesn't want to fight. This story is action packed, suspenseful and very sexy. The characters at Station Seventeen are fun and interesting. I'm anxious for the next in the series. I received this ARC from the publisher and author for a honest review. Pat Fordyce

There is nothing like a book where the H & h don’t like each other that I love. The sexual tension just builds and builds until it explodes, add in suspense and it’s ticks all my boxes. Great 1st book in what I’m assuming will be a great series

This is the first romantic suspense novel for Ms. Kincaid and I certainly hope it's not her last! I was hooked from the first couple of pages! This iBook is the best of both worlds......full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat and a touching love story that will leave you breathless. The two main characters are Isabella Moreno, police detective and Kellan Walker, firefighter and former Army Ranger who meet when his sister is kidnapped. Initially they did not like one another much but when they are throw together again three months later to stop a psychopath the sparks fly! If you are looking for a romantic suspense novel that you can't put down then this is it! Highly recommend!!
